The Environmental Health and Safety office has developed a tutorial on how to use and access the University's Material Safety Sheets or MSDS.  This tutorial will demonstrate on how to search on chemical/product's name, manufacturer, product number, building and CAS number.

This tutorial uses screen recording software that creates a narrated video file that demonstrates on how to search and view a specific MSDS. 

Located at the top of the screen, click on the presentation link bar that you would like to review.  Once the page opens, the video presentation will immediately begin.  To stop the presentation, click on the stop buttonlocated in the tool bar at the top of the screen. To repeat the presentation, click again on the presentation link bar.   After the presentation is completed, either choose another presentation or close the window. 

 
This training presentation is narrated.  To hear the audio portion of this training, your computer must be equipped with either speakers or headphones.  Headphones can be signed out in the Environmental Health and Safety Office for your use with this training. You do not need to hear the narration to complete the training.
